Left- My daughter and I at a bay in California last summer... I am so happy to be at CUMBY ISD. I am very excited about teaching math, my favorite subject. If you want to see kids from 7th to 12th grade having lot's of fun and learning math at the same time, just drop by room 112 on any given day.

My hope and dream is for my students to be the best mathematicians they can possibly be when we part in June 2010 and for them to have not only a passion for but a deeper understanding of math. Most importantly, I want my students to reach deep inside themselves and find joy and a sense of accomplishment through the struggles each problem may bring. Because all of our lives are filled with struggles, we each need to be good at problem solving be it math or life problems or a little bit of both.
